Access to TurnItIn

Overview

Turnitin is a widely used plagiarism detection service and educational technology company. It is primarily used by educational institutions, teachers, and students to check for potential instances of plagiarism in written assignments, research papers, and other academic documents. Turnitin compares submitted documents against a vast database of academic content, internet sources, and previously submitted papers to identify similarities and potential instances of plagiarism.

Request Student Access

You can request student access to check your own papers.

Please go to web.tikit.ai/requests, sign in with your SIU credentials, and select the add request button in the top left-hand corner.

In this pop up please copy and paste your request type from the following list and click submit: 

turnitin

This will cause a form to appear, please fill out this form and then you can follow the status of your request on web.tikit.ai/requests.
