Acrobat Pro

Acrobat Pro includes tools to edit, create, convert, organize, share, and protect PDFs. Acrobat Pro is available to current faculty/staff employees and enrolled students:

• Faculty
• Administrative/Professional staff
• Civil Service (“knowledge worker” classifications only)
• Graduate/Professional students
• Undergraduate students

Get Acrobat Sign for Enterprise

Acrobat Sign for Enterprise is not included with Acrobat Pro and requires a separate license.

Can I install my Adobe app on another computer?

“Your individual license lets you install your Adobe app on more than one computer, sign in (activate) on two, but use it on only one computer at a time.”

Get Acrobat Pro – SIU-Owned Device

1. Request Acrobat Pro

1. Click the button above.
2. Submit a software request for Adobe Acrobat Pro.
3. When notified that your software request is complete: Continue to 2. Activate Acrobat Pro.

2. Activate Acrobat Pro

1. Open the Adobe Acrobat app.
2. Sign in with your @siu.edu email address and SIU password.
3. If prompted, select Company or School Account.

3. Verify Acrobat Pro Activation

1. Open a premium tool like Create PDF, Edit PDF, or Export PDF.
2. If a “You do not have access to this feature” message appears, then sign out your Adobe ID and sign in again.

4. Set Adobe Acrobat as the default PDF app

Set Adobe Acrobat as the default PDF app

1. Open a PDF file from File Explorer (Windows) or Finder (Mac).
2. If the PDF opens in an app other than Adobe Acrobat, then click the button above for instructions.

5. Test Digital Signatures

1. Open a PDF form in Adobe Acrobat.
2. Click a digital signature field and test signing with each Digital ID.
3. Note well: Entrust digital signatures require Entrust Entelligence Security Provider version 10 or newer.

• Download and open the Acrobat installer, then follow the on-screen instructions.
