Introduction

Creative Cloud All Apps includes Acrobat Pro and 20+ creative apps like Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and Premiere Pro. Creative Cloud is available to current faculty/staff employees and enrolled students.

Note well: SIU School of Medicine customers must direct Adobe requests to the SIU SOM IT support queue (techsupport@siumed.edu).

Request & Install Creative Cloud

Personal Device
  1. Request Creative Cloud license: Sign in here with your SIU email credentials and click Continue. If prompted, select Company or School Account.
  2. Sign in to Creative Cloud: Open https://creativecloud.adobe.com/apps/starter/all-apps and sign in with your SIU email credentials. If prompted, select Company or School Account.
  3. Install an app: Select an app category, then download and install an app.

  1. Request Creative Cloud license: Sign in here with your SIU email credentials and click Continue. If prompted, select Company or School Account.
  2. Request Creative Cloud installation: Submit a Software Request for Adobe Creative Cloud All Apps. Note well: The computer must be online and connected to the campus network for software installation. If working remotely or on a private network, then sign into the Virtual Private Network (VPN).
  3. Activate Acrobat Pro: Upon installation, proceed to Activate Acrobat Pro below.
  4. Install More Apps: If you require additional apps, proceed to Install a Creative Cloud App below.
School of Medicine Device

SIU School of Medicine customers must direct Adobe requests to the SIU SOM IT support queue (techsupport@siumed.edu).

Activate Acrobat Pro

  • Open Adobe Acrobat, then sign in with your SIU email credentials. If prompted, select Company or School Account.

Verify Acrobat Pro Activation

  1. Open Adobe Acrobat and select a premium tool like Create PDFEdit PDF, or Export PDF.
  2. If a “You do not have access to this feature” message appears, then sign out the Adobe ID, sign in again with your SIU email credentials, and select Company or School Account.

Set Adobe Acrobat as Default PDF App

  1. Open a PDF file from File Explorer (Windows) or Finder (Mac).
  2. If the PDF opens in an app other than Adobe Acrobat, then set Adobe Acrobat as the default PDF app.

Verify Digital Signature in Acrobat Pro

  1. Download a form with a digital signature field (for example, an employee timesheet or absence request from https://eforms.siu.edu/).
  2. Open the downloaded form in Adobe Acrobat, not in a web browser.
  3. Click a digital signature field and test signing with each Digital ID.
  4. Entrust Users: Entrust ESP 10 supports Adobe Acrobat 64-bit. Entrust ESP 9 supports Adobe Acrobat 32-bit only.

Install a Creative Cloud App

  1. Open Adobe Creative Cloud and sign in with your SIU email credentials. If prompted, select Company or School Account.
  2. Go to the Apps tab, browse the apps catalog, and click the Install button next to an app.
