Install JMP Pro for Mac

1. Trash Previous JMP Pro Installations

1. Open the macOS Applications folder.
2. Right-click all previous installations of JMP Pro and select Move to Trash.

2. Open Installer ISO Disk Image

• Download the JMP_Pro_17_for_Mac.iso disk image, then open it with Finder.

3. Open Installer DMG Disk Image

1. Open the JMP Pro 17 for Mac drive.
2. Open the JMP\JMP_Pro\17_0\Macintosh folder.
3. Open the jmppro__1700__mac.dmg disk image with Finder.

4. Open Installer

• Open the JMP Pro 17.pkg installer.

5. Welcome to the JMP Pro 17 Installer

• Click Continue.

6. Custom Install

• Click Continue.

7. Standard Install

• Click Install.

8. The installation was completed successfully

• Click Close.

9. Provide Your JMP License

1. Open the JMP Pro app.
2. If prompted, click Open License; otherwise, skip the remaining steps.

10. Select Your JMP License File

1. Select the JMP Pro 17 for Mac drive.
2. Select the sid_files folder.
3. Select the JMP170_9CWP86_70191335_OSX_X86-64.txt file.
4. Click Choose.

11. Personalize Your JMP License

• Click OK.

12. Your license has been accepted

• Click OK.

Install JMP Pro for Windows

1. Uninstall Previous JMP Pro Installations

1. Open the Windows Apps & Features system settings.
2. Uninstall all previous installations of JMP Pro.
3. Delete the C:\Program Files\SAS\JMPPRO folder.
4. Reboot the computer.

2. Open Installer ISO Disk Image

• Download the JMP_Pro_17_for_Windows.iso disk image, then open it with Windows Explorer.

3. Open Installer

1. Open the JMP Pro 17 for Windows drive.
2. Open the JMP\JMP_Pro\17_0\Windows folder.
3. Open the jmppro__1700__win.exe installer.

4. JMP Pro 17

• Click Next.

5. Choose Destination Location

• Click Next.

6. Select Features

• Click Next.

7. Ready to Install the Program

• Click Install.

8. InstallShield Wizard Complete

• Click Finish.

Troubleshoot

1. Corrupted Installer ISO

• To verify successful download, compare the file checksum with the table below.
• If the checksum does not match, then download again with a different web browser.

2. Third-Party Archive Utilities

• Open the Mac installer ISO with Finder and the Windows installer ISO with Windows Explorer.
• If necessary, temporarily disable or uninstall third-party archive utilities like 7-Zip, WinRAR, and WinZip.
