Update or Refresh Microsoft Office License

Overview

If your Microsoft Office, Copilot, Project, or Visio license is missing or expired, try updating/refreshing your apps license.

• Windows

Mac

	These instructions apply to Microsoft Office for Mac.
	Open an Office app like Microsoft Word.
	Click the Word menu and select About Microsoft Word.
	Click More Info…, then click Refresh License.
	Sign in with your SIU email address and password.
	Close and re-open the app.

Windows

	These instructions apply to Microsoft Office for Windows.
	Open an Office app like Word, Project, or Visio.
	Go to Home and click Update License. If missing, update or re-install Microsoft Office.
	Sign in with your SIU email address and password.
	Close and re-open the app.
