Update/Refresh Microsoft Office 365 License

Overview

If you receive an error indicating that your Microsoft Office 365, Copilot, Project, or Visio license is missing or expired, try updating/refreshing your apps license.

Windows

1. Open any Microsoft Office app (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).

2. Click the File button in the top left corner of the app.

3. Click Account at the very bottom of the File navigation bar.

4. Near the center of your screen, click the Update License button.

5. Enter your SIU email address and password to sign in.

6. Exit the app and then re-open it.

7. Your license should successfully reset. If that does not resolve the error, please contact SalukiTech for assistance.

Mac

1. Open any Microsoft Office app (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).

2. Click File in the top left corner and select About Microsoft Word.

3. Click More Info…, then click Refresh License.

5. Enter your SIU email address and password to sign in.

6. Exit the app and then re-open it.

7. Your license should successfully reset. If that does not resolve the error, please contact SalukiTech for assistance.
