BigDawg is the campus’s High Performance Computing Cluster (HPCC) managed by the Research Computing and Cyberinfrastructure (RCC) group. Access is requested via NetID. Log into NetID, select the Requests tab. In Requests, select Request Access tab. Here are step-by-step instructions to request a BigDawg account.
The BigDawg RCC group can be contacted via research-computing@siu.edu.
After access is granted, there is mandatory user training although at the time of this writing, no link can be provided.
