How do I clear my browser cache and cookies?

Google Chrome (Windows/Mac/Linux)

  1. Open Chrome.
  2. Click the three dots in the top-right corner.
  3. Go to More tools > Clear browsing data…
  4. In the pop-up:
    • Set Time range to All time.
    • Check Cached images and files.
    • (Optional) Check other items like Cookies if needed.
  5. Click Clear data.

Mozilla Firefox (Windows/Mac/Linux)

  1. Open Firefox.
  2. Click the three lines in the top-right corner.
  3. Select Settings > Privacy & Security.
  4. Scroll to Cookies and Site Data.
  5. Click Clear Data…
    • Check Cached Web Content.
    • (Optional) Check Cookies and Site Data.
  6. Click Clear.

To clear for “all time”:

  • Go to History > Clear Recent History…
  • Set Time range to clear to Everything.
  • Check Cache (and others if desired).
  • Click OK.

Microsoft Edge (Windows/Mac)

  1. Open Edge.
  2. Click the three dots in the top-right corner.
  3. Go to Settings > Privacy, search, and services.
  4. Under Clear browsing data, click Choose what to clear.
  5. Set Time range to All time.
  6. Check Cached images and files.
  7. Click Clear now.

Safari (Mac)

  1. Open Safari.
  2. Click Safari in the top menu > Preferences (or Settings on newer versions).
  3. Go to the Privacy tab.
  4. Click Manage Website Data…
  5. Click Remove All > Remove Now.

Alternatively:

  • Click Safari > Clear History…
  • Set Clear to all history.
  • Click Clear History.

Opera (Windows/Mac/Linux)

  1. Open Opera.
  2. Click the Opera icon in the top-left (or the three lines icon).
  3. Select Clear browsing data.
  4. Set Time range to All time.
  5. Check Cached images and files.
  6. Click Clear data.

Brave (Windows/Mac/Linux)

  1. Open Brave.
  2. Click the three lines or dots in the top-right.
  3. Go to Settings > Privacy and security.
  4. Click Clear browsing data.
  5. Set Time range to All time.
  6. Check Cached images and files.
  7. Click Clear data.

Mobile Browsers

Chrome / Firefox / Edge / Brave (iOS & Android)

  1. Open the browser.
  2. Tap the menu icon (three dots or lines).
  3. Go to Settings > Privacy (or similar).
  4. Select Clear browsing data.
  5. Set Time range to All time.
  6. Check Cache (and other items as needed).
  7. Confirm to clear.

Safari (iOS)

  1. Open Settings app.
  2. Scroll down and tap Safari.
  3. Tap Clear History and Website Data.
  4. Confirm.
