Rebooting The KIC Book Scanner
If the book scanner encounters an error or stops responding, rebooting it should always be the first step.
- Locate the wireless keyboard. It should be on the shelf under the work table; on the left side, behind the power cable.
- Turn the keyboard on. There is a power switch on top of the keyboard. Flip the switch to show the green side; this indicates it is on.
- Initiate a reboot. Using the keyboard, press the CRTL+ALT+DEL keys at the same time.
- Once the scanner has rebooted and is working again, please turn off the keyboard and store it in the same location you found it in. Note: you may need to reboot the scanner multiple times.
