How to Load a roll of film:

Steps to capture, save and share the desired images

  • Load the film in the scanner as shown in the picture in page 1.
  • Use > to move the film forward slowly and >> to move the film faster.
  • To rewind the film, use < and <<.
  • Browse the microfilm until you find an image that needs to be captured.
  • Click on the CAPTURE option on the left side of main window.
  • You can adjust the image using the ADJUST option to adjust the brightness, contrast and orientation. (You can also name and save your settings related to the image and reuse them by choosing the name that was used to save from the dropdown and click on load settings).
  • The images captured will be shown in the CAPTURE BIN as shown in the image in page 1.
  • Once you capture all the required images, you can either do an INSTANT PRINT or INSTANT USB. If you want to save and share the images you can click on the SHARE option.
  • If you want to delete the images after clicking on share, you can select images to be deleted and click on delete button.
  • Select the images that need to be saved, select an image path, and give a base filename to the images that are being saved.
  • You will see options such as print, disk, USB. Once you select one of these options, click Start and your images will be saved/printed/copied to the path selected.
  • If you want to capture more images, click on the BROWSE option on the top left corner of the window.
