Working Remotely

You are here:

SIU has established guidelines for faculty and staff who work remotely. While these guidelines outline the rules and expectations for remote work, there are also important technical considerations to address to ensure seamless remote access.

Before getting started, make sure the following requirements are met:

  • Your account is authorized to access the remote computer.
  • The remote computer is powered on.
  • There are no network connectivity issues that could prevent a successful connection.
