Blocked Email
Did you receive a message saying that “your IT department has blocked your email access” ? You might not have the ability to send or receive messages on the application that you saw that message on.
If this is this is the case, it might be due to an unsupported third-party application that you may be using. This is true if you are still able to access your email through office.siu.edu. (If you get a message saying “something went wrong” after logging in through here then this might be a separate issue and you will need to contact SalukiTech about it.)
SOLUTION
First, make sure that your device and application have the most recent update installed. Then, try removing the email account from the application. Afterwards, add the email account again.
If re-adding the account does not resolve the issue, you may need to upgrade to the Outlook application.
