On how to connect to eduroam refer this (https://oit.siu.edu/wireless/wireless-instructions/mac-osx/eduroam-mac-osx.php)

Sometimes if you have been to a different campus and connected to their wifi with your mac, an error with the certificates may occur. If you have tried the above options, and MacOS on your device is 10.13 or newer, you may need to delete the old eduroam certificates from the Profile menu.

You can get here by clicking the Apple icon in the top left corner, selecting System preferences, and selecting profiles.
Once here you will need to select any profiles that named “eduroam” by selecting the profile, then clicking the “-” or “minus” button below the user profiles.
