Install Adobe Creative Cloud on Your Personal Computer

Overview

Adobe Creative Cloud is a collection of professional applications used for design, photo editing, video production, web development, and more.

After installing the Creative Cloud app, sign in using your SIU credentials to get started.

Install Creative Cloud

1. In your browser, go to the Adobe Creative Cloud download page.

Note: If you are a student, you will first need to submit a Software Request for an Adobe Creative Cloud license. Once your request has been processed, you will receive an email notification.

2. Click the Download Creative Cloud button.

3. Open your Downloads folder.

4. Double-click the Adobe installer to begin the installation process.

5. Click Continue.

6. Follow the installation steps on screen.

7. Once the installation has completed, double-click the Adobe Creative Cloud app to open it.

8. Enter your @siu.edu email address and click Continue.

9. If prompted, select Company or School Account.

10. Enter your @siu.edu email again. Then, click Next.

11. Enter your password. Then, click Sign in.

12. Complete the multi-factor authentication process.

13. Once signed in, click the Apps button on the left-hand menu to view all the Adobe Creative Cloud apps that are available for installation.

14. Click the Install button under any of the apps you would like to install and use.

15. Once the installation has completed, click on the app icon(s) on your device to open them.

Where can I learn more about Adobe apps?

Can I install, activate, or use Adobe apps on an additional device?
Yes. You may install Adobe Creative Cloud apps on up to two devices. While installation is allowed on multiple devices, only one device can be in use at any given time.

Does Adobe Creative Cloud include Adobe Acrobat AI Assistant and PDF Spaces?
No. Adobe Creative Cloud does not include Acrobat AI Assistant or PDF Spaces.

Does Adobe Creative Cloud include Adobe Acrobat Pro?
Yes. Adobe Creative Cloud includes Adobe Acrobat Pro.

How do I fix error 105 with an SIU e-form?
Make sure you are downloading the file directly from eforms.siu.edu. This error usually occurs when a PDF opens automatically in your web browser instead of being downloaded.

After downloading the file, open your Downloads folder. Right‑click the file, select Open with, and choose Adobe Acrobat.
