University Computers

	These instructions apply to computers owned by SIU Carbondale.
	Install Microsoft Office for Mac: * see Personal Computers Install Microsoft Office for Windows: * Microsoft Software Center

Personal Computers

	These instructions apply to Mac and Windows computers.
	Uninstall all previous Microsoft Office installations, then restart your computer.
	Open https://aka.ms/office-install.
	Sign in with your @siu.edu email address and password.
	Click Install Office.
	Open the downloaded installer and follow the installation prompts.
	Upon successful installation, sign in to activate: * Sign In/Activate Microsoft Office

Mobile Devices

	These instructions apply to mobile devices.
	Note well: * The Microsoft 365 app transition to the Microsoft 365 Copilot app
	Select your mobile platform: * Install and set up Office on an Android * Install and set up Office on an iPhone or iPad
